Service Overview - Aged Care Advice
As advocates for older people, we utilise our knowledge to help people navigate, and work their way through, the complexity of retirement through our range of retirement services that cover Aged Care advice and Centrelink and Veterans’ Affairs entitlements.
Considering a move to Aged Care Accommodation can be a confronting and emotional experience both for the person embarking on this major move and their family. And the move is not made any easier by the complex rules and regulations of Australia’s Aged Care system and the way fees are charged.
Like any of life’s major transitions, arming yourself with the right information to make an informed decision is critical to ensure the move is as efficient and effective as possible.
Our Aged Care Advice is tailored to each individual’s circumstances and focuses on strategies that will help you determine:
- Whether to pay your entry fees as a lump sum Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD) or a periodic Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP);
