Joy Smith Principal, CFP®
Owner and Director of Segue Financial Services and Portfolio Administrative Services. Joy is a Certified Financial Planner with a Diploma in Financial Planning. Joy has owned and managed the business since its inception in 1977. She is responsible for the mentoring and standards of the financial services provided by Segue’s Representatives. Joy’s roles also include the marketing and commercial structuring of the business.
Simon Guiliano Senior Adviser, CFP®

Simon is a Certified Financial Planner who also holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment. Simon is one of Segue’s senior advisers, he specialising in Self Managed Superannuation Funds, income/cashflow planning, estate management, taxation and investment strategies. Simon’s experience in investment research adds another dimension to our in-house Active Investment models.
deLancey Worthington Portfolio Manager
BA, FIAA, Dip ST&I, DFP
After being Segue’s consultant Actuary for 10 years, deLancey officially accepted the role of Portfolio Manager in 2008. His skills in actuarial calculations, knowledge of the SIS Act and Regulations that govern Self Managed Superannuation Funds, has been a major contributor to Segue’s strategic investment and financial planning edge. deLancey developed the performance program that has assessed Segue’s MDA investment models since 2004.
Lucy Brown BPsychSc.; Client Service Manager
Lucy is the Client Service Manager for Segue Financial Services and Portfolio Administrative Services. Lucy liaises with Advisers and manages client Financial Planning and Investment administration, Centrelink/DVA paperwork and related assessments. Lucy administers internal surveys to monitor the ‘health’ of the business. She organises annual seminars, in-house information briefings and manages new client appointments.
Iris Robb Dip Acc.; Senior Fund Administrator
Iris has many years of accounting administration experience across various work environments. Iris leads the Segue’s administration team, Portfolio Administrative Services (PAS), is responsible for Self Managed Super Funds (SMSF) and Non-Super Investment funds. She is responsible for the Annual SMSF Audit and Tax processes; administion of complex SMSF pension structures; and supports on-going development of self-managed superannuation strategies.
Lisa Benedek BEd.; SMSF Administrator Lisa worked for several years as Segue’s Client Service Manager then after returning from maternity leave took up her current position specialising in Self-Managed Super Fund administration. Her role within administration team, Portfolio Administrative Services (PAS), is accounting for Self Managed Super Funds (SMSF) and individual Investment portfolios. She is responsible for the Annual Reporting process of self-managed superannuation funds.
Nadene Smith Practice Manager
Nadene is joint-owner and practice manager of Segue and Portfolio Administrative Services. Her skills and experience are setting operational systems. She established PAS in July 2001 to bring in-house the unique structures and strategies employed by Segue for the administration of Self Managed Super Funds. Nadene structured the MDA platform. Her role also includes business compliance and staff assessments.
Philip Dowsley MDA & SMSF Auditor
Phil runs his own accounting practice. Annually he leads the audit team who process Segue’s several hundred Self-Managed Super Funds. Also, Segue’s MDA service requires an audit of ‘the process’ which Phil completes annually.
The MDA operation is audited annually.
